Jennifer grew up in Olympia, Washington and is the oldest of four siblings. The misty, damp evergreen forests and rocky, salty beaches of the Pacific Northwest were her playgrounds as a child and teen. Growing up immersed in nature taught her to treasure the natural world and respect and appreciate the flora and fauna we live with on this earth. As a young adult, she went on to get B.A.s in biology and studio art and enjoys integrating her passions in her artwork to share with the world. Jennifer now lives in Colorado, close to the mountains and her family.
Creativity and art have always been a big part of Jennifer’s life. She also has a deep love of mythology and the fantastical and is currently exploring the genre of imaginative realism in her paintings. Drawing and painting people and nature subjects have always held her attention, and continue to be a focus of her artwork.
Jennifer enjoys exploring a variety of painting mediums: from oil to watercolor to acrylic mural painting. She occasionally paints custom murals in people’s homes and loves creating beautiful reflections of nature indoors. She believes art can bring people together and having visual creativity in our environments helps inspire, uplift and motivate us in our everyday lives.
In Jennifer’s free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her partner including camping, hiking and backpacking. She believes that nature and art are the most amazing things in the world, and wants to share that joy with others!
“I believe in inspiring creativity, cultivating empathy and nurturing the connection between people and nature through my art.”
